ROCKVILLE - Perley Edward Crowder, 73, Rockville farmer and carpenter, died at 11 p.m. Thursday in his home on Rt. 3. A Parke County native, he was born Dec. 20, 1896, a son of Calvin and Etta Bennett Crowder. Surviving are his widow, Flossie; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Overpeck of Rockville and Mrs. Helen Delp and Mrs. Juanita Taylor, both of Mansfield; three sons, Ralph of Rockville and Gerald and Robert, both of Mansfield; three sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Lewis of Rockville, Mrs. Lula Pollard of Campaign, Ill., and Mrs. Lucille McMahan of Kingman; 34 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Barnes Mortuary with Rev. Chester Martin officiating. Interment will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary. - jlr
